During this difficult and constantly evolving time, the need to support one another and feel connected to a community is so important. While we are all adapting to this new way of living together, I wanted to share a few on how I am finding comfort at home, so we can continue to feel united in times of solidarity.
Put on your #WFH uniform. Between juggling a newborn, a family and a business it can be easy to revel in the idea of lounging in sweatpants all day. I am keeping myself motivated by putting a little make up, I am currently loving Chanel Ultra Le Teint, my favourite Aerin Fragrance, and my usual Mode Uniform every morning and absolutely love seeing our #modegirls doing the same!
Find your community, online. Our #modegirls community has always been such an important part of my life, and now more than ever is it important to feel connected. Sign up for some live online yoga classes, join an online book club or simply take the time to FaceTime your loved ones and check in on them.
Rest and reset. Cherish this time to be still, go back to basics and spend time with your loved ones. For me, there is nothing more stress relieving than running a soothing bath with some essential oils and putting on of Estee Lauders Powerfoil Face Masks. After this, I'll put on a rom-com or a Netflix series for a welcome distraction. I am currently watching Love which is always great for a good laugh!
It is hard to know what to do at times like this, in unprecedented times, with no roadmap, when we have new information not only daily, but hourly. I will continue to check in with you all and to share with you on this platform, sharing my outfits, my family and my day as a little escape from our daily demons.
I am here for you, our Mode Sportif team are here for you, we are all in this together.
Stay safe, be well and keep smiling.
