Babymoons are a must, and what better place to relax and revive (the only appropriate style of holiday at seven months pregnant) than beautiful Byron Bay. Byron offers everything that a couple with a low-key agenda could hope for; from famous coastal walks, to delicious organic food, luxurious day spas and iconic white-sand beaches.
Where to stay...
Rae's on Wategos is my go to for a luxurious escape with exceptional service. This exclusive boutique retreat is located on an idyllic beachfront setting, let the sounds of the sea lull you to sleep after an afternoon spent lounging poolside...
What to see...
The lighthouse walk that looks over Byron Bay is an absolute must. Wake up early to catch the sunrise at the top (the early wake up call is worth it for the view).
Where to eat...
You can't beat Top Shop for breakfast, the avocado on toast is like no other! If you can, venture out to Brunswick Heads for a late lunch at Fleet Restaurant. The rolling hills and incredible landscapes alone are worth the drive over. The seasonal menu is sourced locally and beautifully represents the area through passion and flavour.
What to bring...
My three essentials are a basket bag from HEREU, an incredibly comfortable and flattering one piece by Hunza G. (my favourite is the white) and a pair of Emme Parsons sandals to take you straight from beach to brunch.
